I... I had lost all hope, Gamz... that's the easiest way I can be puttin' it. I had fallen into a deep pit a' despair only made deeper by jealousy an' lonliness. Was feelin' we were all doomed anyway...
Probably didn't help anythin' either that I didn't have a moirial to be keepin' me in line an' stoppin' me from doin' that. Stoppin' me from givin' in to that sort a' thing. I could be givin' a million an' one reasons for why but I'm pretty sure none a' them are any good.
